The Prevost Polyamide (Nylon) Tubing is engineered for demanding industrial environments that require higher pressure ratings and greater chemical resistance than standard polyurethane. Known for its exceptional dimensional stability and mechanical strength, this tubing is the industry standard for primary air distribution, high-pressure control lines, and long-range pneumatic circuits.

Unlike softer tubing, Prevost Nylon is rigid enough to maintain its shape over long distances while remaining light enough for easy installation.

When to Choose Polyamide (Nylon) over Polyurethane (PU)?

While PU is chosen for its “rubber-like” flexibility, Nylon is the superior choice when:

1. Higher Pressures: You are operating near or above 150 PSI.
2. Temperature Extremes: The environment is subject to high heat (up to 100°C).
3. Rigid Routing: You need the tubing to stay straight and not “sag” across long horizontal runs.
4. Chemical Exposure: The lines may come into contact with aggressive lubricants or fuels.
