Unlike standalone ball valves, this unit is a modular block that connects directly to your ATU filters or regulators using the ALTO connection kits. It features a high-visibility, 3-way mechanism: when closed, it not only blocks the incoming air supply but also automatically vents the downstream pressure to the atmosphere, rendering the system safe for maintenance. The robust control knob is designed with integrated holes to accept safety padlocks, ensuring full compliance with OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) regulations.

Installation Tip: This valve is typically installed on the inlet (left) side of your FRL assembly. For the quietest operation, we recommend threading a small sintered bronze silencer into the exhaust port (usually on the bottom or back of the unit) to dampen the noise of the air releasing.
