Installing large-diameter compressed air piping shouldn’t be a wrestling match. The Prevost PPS Insertion Tool (PPS INS) is a specialized mechanical lever designed to effortlessly seat 63mm, 80mm, and 100mm aluminum pipes into Prevost PPS1 fittings.

While smaller pipes can be connected by hand, large-diameter industrial lines require significant force to pass the stainless steel “grip ring” and double-lobed seals. This tool provides the necessary mechanical advantage to insert the pipe smoothly, safely, and to the exact required depth—ensuring a guaranteed leak-free seal without installer fatigue.

Instructions for Use (Simplified)

1. Prep: Chamfer the pipe end and apply Prevost Assembly Gel (PPS AL) to the pipe and fitting seal.
2. Clamp: Attach the holding clamp to the pipe and the saddle to the fitting.
3. Lever: Use the lever arm to smoothly draw the pipe into the fitting until it hits the internal stop.
4. Finish: Remove the tool and tighten the fitting nut (if applicable) to the specified torque.
