Description
Prevost Conex Male Run Tee
In-Line Threaded Branching for Streamlined Air Distribution
The Prevost Conex Male Run Tee is a high-performance “T” shaped fitting designed to create a branch line directly in the middle of a pneumatic run. Unlike a branch tee (where the thread is on the bottom), the Male Run Tee features a male threaded port on one of the horizontal ends. This allows the fitting to be threaded directly into a component—such as a valve or cylinder—while allowing the air line to continue in a straight “run” past that point.
This configuration is essential for “daisy-chaining” multiple pneumatic components in series or for adding a drop-line to a main supply header with minimal space and fittings.
Key Features
- Strategic “Run” Configuration: The male thread is positioned at 180 degree to one push-in port, with the second push-in port acting as the 90 degree branch. This is the ideal geometry for mounting a fitting into a port while maintaining a straight-through main air line.
- 360° Swivel Body: The entire polymer “T” body rotates fully around the nickel-plated brass threaded base. This allows you to orient both the straight run and the 90-degree branch perfectly, regardless of where the thread tightens.
- Instantaneous “Grip” Technology: Both tubing ports feature Prevost’s signature stainless steel gripping rings. Installation is tool-free; simply push the technical tubing (PU, PA, or PE) in for a secure, vibration-proof, and airtight seal.
- Full-Flow Internal Geometry: Precision-engineered to ensure maximum airflow with negligible pressure drop. The internal path is optimized to support the high-demand requirements of industrial actuators and air tools.
- Rugged Hybrid Construction: Combines the mechanical strength of a nickel-plated brass base with a high-impact technical polymer body. This ensures the fitting can withstand high vibration, moisture, and exposure to industrial oils.

The Efficient Choice for Series Plumbing
The Prevost Conex Male Run Tee is a “system-level” problem solver. It is most frequently used when multiple devices need to share the same air supply without a centralized manifold.
- Series Connections: Perfect for linking several valves or cylinders in a row along a single supply line.
- Compact Integration: By threading the “run” directly into the port, you eliminate the need for extra nipples and T-unions, reducing the physical footprint of your machine logic.
- Organized Routing: Allows air lines to run parallel to machine frames or mounting plates, keeping the installation clean and protected from mechanical damage.
Ideal Applications
- Manifold Extensions: Adding a branch line to an existing manifold port while continuing the main air supply to the next block.
- Cylinder Clusters: Feeding a series of cylinders where space does not allow for individual supply lines from a central source.
- Pilot Logic Circuits: Splitting a control signal at a specific valve location to trigger a secondary downstream component.
- Sensor Integration: Mounting a threaded pressure switch or gauge into a “run” without interrupting the flow to the rest of the system.
Installation Tip
When threading the fitting into your port, use a wrench on the hexagonal brass base to ensure a primary seal (using thread sealant for NPT or the integrated gasket for BSPP). Once the base is secure, swivel the body to align with your tubing path. For a 100% leak-free connection, always use a dedicated tube cutter to ensure your tubing ends are cut perfectly square.
